Please can anyone help with transport for Mollie, a 13 year old Collie. Mollie is bit shy at first, calm and friendly, she is water obsessed and still active. Mollie is vaccinated but we are not sure if she is microchipped.
Mollie needs to travel from Romsey, Hampshire (SO51) to Colchester, Essex (CO7) and the full route is:
A3090 M3 M25 A12 A120 A133
A total 163.4 miles, taking approx 3 hours 10 minutes.
Its is easiest for Mollie's fosterers to take her on a weekend but they can arrange time to take her during the week. They would love the run to take place this coming weekend but it isnt an urgent case.
If you can help could you please state which dates you are available and where you can meet up either side of your journey.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mollie will be legally owned by Oldies Club upon handover to the first transport volunteer. We have full liability insurance but ask that transporters contact their own motor insurers to advise they are transporting dogs for rescue voluntarily. There will be no charge for this. Any possible incidents will then be covered.
Great care is to be taken when placing Mollie in and out of vehicles and at handover points.
She should travel in a safe and secure manner, ideally behind a dog guard or in a crate. No other animals or children are to travel in the same vehicle unless you have Oldies Club permission.
Many thanks Amy

I take take from Romsey to the M25 - or the M3 junction before (J3) if the services are better? This would need to be Sunday for me but I can fit round other people's times on that day.

Sorry I don't know the services at all - hopefully someone here may be able to suggest, otherwise tomorrow I'll try to google something.

I could pick up from Kay somewhere and go round as far as the M1 but can't go all the way to the A12.
Is that any help if there is someone to do the in between bit?

So sorry this wasn't updated. The fosterers are now collecting so this run isn't needed.
Thank you both for the offers.
