...a dog dental chisel? Becks has, at some point in his old life, broken off half a canine and chipped a few teeth. So, he hates having his teeth looked at. Now he trusts me enough to let me brush them and have a look. He's got a lot of tartar ready to come off with a bit of help. Thanks guys Tania

I used to sell these until I got told off buy the vet :PWhen a hound has a dental the veys put some stuff on the exposed part of the tooth where the tartar has been stripped away to prevent damage to the tooth under the tartar, sort of like new enamel. So buy chipping it off at home and not having the special stuff the vets used I was doing moew harm than good. I now use a combiantion of Frieria mentioned in the below link and logic toothpaste. greyhoundgap.proboards35.com/index.cgi?board=New&action=display&thread=41715I hope that helps, nicky ;D

Where do you get Frieria and what exactly is it? I tried to find it using Google but with no luck.
Thanks, Tania

I use plaque off, you just add it to their food and I'm sure its helped loosen the plaque on their teeth, I get mine from vetuk. Not sure whether Nicky means Fragaria?
