I can pick up at Chieveley for Milton Keynes on Thursday but cant leave Wokingham before 13.00 (1.00pm) so would mean around 1.30pm at Chieveley. The return journey will be around 180 miles so approx £25 cost. It will take about 1 3/4 hours from Chievely to Milton Keynes, Will need to know where drop off in Milton Keynes will be. Ted.

Ted the route we got was 67 miles from Newbury to MK straight up the A43 as opposed to going round the motorways. Would this be better for you at 1.30 if I can arrange??

Lisa - Michelin's recommended route Wokingham-Chievely-Milton Keynes-Wokingham is 173 miles taking 3 1/4 hours. That's some trek

Wokingham - Chievely-Buckingham-Milton Keynes-Buckingham-Wokingham on Autoroute is 4 1/2 hours and 178 miles. I assume you meant the A34 from Chieveley Services. It also states it takes 2 hours from Chieveley to Milton Keynes via A34/A43 and Buckingham. Would it be possible for the MK to Cam run come to Buckingham, just a thought Buckingham is alot smaller town

Okay just need details mobiles etc, and drop off/meet at MK. The distance is about right but the timing depends what Oxfordshire CC are doing to the A34. My routing will be straight up A34 from Chieveley Services to the M40 then the A43 onto the A421/A422 direct to MK. If who ever is picking up at MK can be at the junction of the A5 and A422.
By the way Chieveley Services is accessable to the roundabout off the M4 Junction 13. Far better than Newbury itself, as you can get back onto the M4 West/East and the A34 North/South.

Edited by PrincessC to remove personal details/car registration/mobile phone numbers for security reasons. Ted, perhaps you could pm them to the other drivers instead?

Unfortunately, we are not in your area, but my collegue Jo and I would like to help with transport or the occasional nights fostering in the Leeds area (or an hours radius of Leeds). We have greyhounds of our own and Jo has cats also. Bear us in mind in the future, Regards Laura & Jo and Isis, Khama, Arrow, Blue, Solomae & Twigglet. P.s. we work in a veterinary surgery and we are happy to give advice!!!
