Hi,
just wanted some advise on this - hes been sick today whilst im out at work, it was bright yellow (we dont feed anytihng of that colour). Im going to see how he goes before i go on a mad dash to the vets..
So A couple of questions...
1. How many times/how sick should they be before taking to the vets? 2. Should I feed him (i would assume not but just want to check!)? 3. Is it usual for a dog to cry/whimper when its ill - as this is what he is doing. 4. Any other advice would be appreciated
Thanks Alex xxx

There are alot of bugs around at the moment if you read on chat its full of sick dogs Yellow is because its the bile off his tummy. Try giving him a tiny amount of chicken to see if he will eat if he refuses and settles see how he goes over the next 12 hours. If he carries on being sick or diahorrea and you see any blood ring the vets asap incase its gastro.

A lot of bile and frothy clear can also be pancreatitis although far far less likely than gastro. It continues well after the stomach would be empty and follows drinking too. They are also ill with it and when vet feels belly it hurts. Usually refuse food too. Unlikely but always worth bearing in mind as it is very serious.

Thanks - ive just taken him on a tiny walk around the park and he has diahorrea too - he is sitting downstairs crying, i cant work out if he is getting mardy again or if its because he is feeling ill - Im still following the instructions Lisa gave me to a T, to stop him being a mardy bum - do you think its because hes ill or am i doing something wrong???
