Don't worry folks - Barney's balls haven't grown back! 
This is a question for my sister, whose Yorkie (Rooney) was castrated at six months. He's now 15 months.
Before he was neutered he had a favourite teddy which he used to hump (sorry!). After the op, teddy was thrown away because the humping had persisted. Once teddy was gone the behaviour stopped, until a few weeks ago . . .
Rooney was playing with an empty pop bottle and became so excited that his penis emerged, so much so that about 6 inches worth was visible and was actually touching the floor
. My sister was horrified .
Anyway, now Rooney appears to want to hump any bitch that he meets. They visited here last weekend and poor Ellie was sexually harassed the whole time (she has been spayed). She was biting him but he still wouldn't be dissuaded!
Could his castration have failed, or is this just learned behaviour from puppyhood?
