Has anyone used this company for tailgate guards please? www.dogtravelproducts.co.uk/index.htmThe tailgate guards are a reasonable price and we are planning to contact them about getting one made for my Shogun. Just wondered if anyone had used them already and what they thought of the product? Ta Fran x

Fran, if you want a tailgate guard then I can only recommend Barjo, a bit pricey but a great quality product.

That looks like a lucky escape, good job you asked around. There really should be some protection for people from things like this

I'm delighted with mine from Barnesbrook www.dogcages.net/ I had a Barjo in my last car but they don't make them for my current one Barjo used to make tail guards for any make, if they were not on the current list you had to email them and they'd make it and then as they'd made a template that model would get added to there range. I can't rave about Barjo enough, pricey but threre service it brill and anyone else offering similar is just trying to imitate them. I've spoken to them at cruffts and didn't realise they don't even advertise as they work off recomendations. All that said I bought mine when I had considerably more money coming in and i could afford it.

They haven't worked out how to fit them without drilling into the bodywork which clever Dave Barnes at Barnesbrook has It's not like there aren't lots and lots of people with Land Rover Discovery 3's wanting tailgate guards, after all!
