Used Arnica tabs recentlly (homeopathic) four days before and four days after Lily's (lurcher) spaying op. To reduce bruising, swelling, promote healing etc. and yes, hardly any swelling or redness and the scar's healed really well - vet could be a plastic surgeon! Also use cod liver oil (with added glucosamine for 8 year old lab.)

I was thinking of getting Arnica (always useful to have), Evening Primrose (for Poppy) and Keepers Mix (for all of them) from Dorwest Jane

our Whippet x had epilepsy and we used to use valerian to help control her fits - seemed to work whilst her fits were minor

I use homeopathic tablets - RUTAGRAV 30c potency for muscle and tendon strains/pulls etc. 4 a day for a few days then stop and see how is is and if not better start again for 4 days etc you can but them from any good health food shop. I used them for moose when he pulled a muscle in his leg running into the back of an upturned boat !! just before Christmas and within 2 days of taking them he was absolutely fine and no problems since and my mum has used them on dogs for years.
