Infected anal glands

Trix has been going crazy licking under her tail the last day or 2, been wormed and frontlined last week, anal glands emptied a couple of weeks ago. She's not been scooting so wasn't sure if it was them.
Vet emptied them this am, not much in but was blood in it so they are infected. Got 12 days AB's then we go back for them checking again.
I know a lot of people's dogs have anal gland probs and just wanted you to be aware this can happen, and if you express them yourself keep a look out for it, they were just like pin head sized spots of blood.
It's the first time they've been infected and she really isn't herself , so disinfecting thoughts would be appreciated please.

Barney has had this happen and he was oozing bloody discharge from his, he had to have a second lot of abs so do keep an eye on her's to make sure all is cleared up at the end of the first lot.
