Hi
Woould you recommend a stop-pulling harness if you have a grey that tends to get excited and starts pulling ?

I understand that Jim Greenwood has been doing a bit of research on pulling, and has come to the conclusion that a harness can make a dog pull worse. He told me to sort of tickle with the lead in little jerks as this really aggrivates the neck and stops the pulling. Having put this into practice with some of the kennel hounds it does work. If you want to join us at the kennels I can show you and it's not just an excuse to meet the beautiful Kiwi again.

Hi
that would be nice
just bear in mind that its not kiwi thats the problem hes just perfect on the lead.
i have done what everybody told me not to, i got a little bitch and she is the one pulling.
and they get along just fine and kiwi no longer has issues when we go to bed or upstairs to do some work.

hi just to let you know, the pulling is almost sorted. she no longer walks us, she will only pull a tiny bit on the first 5 minutes of the walk and she is responding well to correction

Glad that the pulling is nearly sorted.
I find that Blue pulls more the longer the lead. So walk with a shorter lead as he pulls like a train with a harness.
