Since we had to have our lovely Molly PTS nearly three weeks ago, in general Suggs has been ok.There are a couple of changes I've noticed and am wondering if its anything to be concerned about, and how to rectify them before they get worse. He generally seems his normal happy self in the home apart from he has taken to following us around from room to room.We don't mind but its something he didn't do before. He settles well at bedtime and when we go to work. When we went on the monthly White Lodge walk on Sunday he seemed very nervous, pulling on his lead to get away from the other people, it didn't seem to be the dogs he was concerned about, he was happy to share sniffs etc. Also at the end of the walk we always hang around for coffee, treats for the dogs and a chat. While we had Molly Suggs was getting much better at this and even started to take treats from people, mostly females and accept the occasional fuss from some. However this week he was nervous , jumpy and aloof not wishing to engage with anyone. He's happy with visitors in the home once he gets to know them. His appetite isn't quite so good either, although I think that could be down to the fact with the dark days he's not getting his off lead runs and the house is warm.We realise that Suggs is much better with another dog and are looking for a bitch( a minxy black one I hope) to come and live with us ,as we also miss our cheeky girl so much. There doesn't seem to be any cat friendlies around at the moment but I'm hoping Gap has some in as we'd really love another Gap girl.Until the day one comes in with our names on any advice on how to help Suggs would be welcome.Thank you.
