Got a call from someone (via Marcia ) whose Father in Law has just been diagnosed with serious lung cancer and is to undergo chemotherapy starting tomorrow. He has a 10 year old male Lurcher that he feels needs rehoming as he doesn't feel he will be able to look after him properly The dog is fairly tall (?) and is a rough coated blue / grey colour - probably still entire from what the DiL says- probably up to date with his vax as he's "always been taken care of" . He's always lived in the house and is OK being left, but he doesn't get on awfully well with other dogs (muzzle time! ) . He's probably not cat friendly either as hes an ex-worker, but gets on OK with ferrets He's fine with children as the grandkids go to play with him when they visit their grandad ;D He needs to go somewhere fairly experienced to let him adjust to life without his dad, as he's going to pine........can anyone help this lad out?
