Greyhound Gap have been asked to take an 8mnth old Greyhound pup with a broken hock via a vets in Newcastle upon Tyne. The vets are kindly repairing his break free of charge but its not yet known whether it will be a plate OR external fixating cage.
This is a large journey for this boy but he needs to be in our experienced foster home with a vet nurse in Bourneville Birmingham however we need to do it with the least amount of changes.
IF someone has reliable transport and would please please please consider doing all of the journey we will of course pay generous expenses.
IF someone can do a large leg of the journey please let me know. This lad will need moving at the weekend to enable us to rehabilitate and continue his existing care.
If you can help please email greyhoundgap@yahoo.co.uk

Lynne you ARE a star (as a Greyhound Gap for sorting this so quickly!) and I look forward to seeing him off to a safe place. Love Ems (co-rescuer of 'Freddie')

Lol, thankyou all, Celia has very kindly insisted that since it's such a long journey I NEED company so she will be accompanying me. I wonder if she's aware of my dodgy in car musical tastes....
