Since getting Bonnie I've normally been putting her in the garden for a last wee at 10:30pm. Last night I was so tired though I went to bed at 9:30pm, got up at 6:30am and raceddownstairs expecting to find a puddle. But she was fine and wasn'tthat keen on been made to go out in the garden. Just wondering what time other people put their dogs to bed?
Has anyone got any tips for scraping all the dog poo up off the grass? I've got a small shovel for the purpose but some of the poo is a bit soft and I seem to leave some mess smeared on the grass. I've got a daughter so its not ideal. I saw some poo freeze spray and wondered if that might help, but then I read some bad reviews saying it was useless.
Thanks

Mine go out for last wee's around 9pm in the week & are fine, as long as they aren't drinking a large quantity of water after going out they should be OK.
The answer to dog poo on the grass is to water down with a watering can or hose, it dissolves those last bits a treat.

Mine go out between 11pm and 11.30pm, any earlier and I can guarantee Rio will want to go out at 4am so I'd rather go to bed a bit later than get up bleary eyed in the middle of the night.

My dogs got out at 9pm. The two older dogs don't move again until I do. Norty Nelly, of course, can't wait and wants to go out about 5am - even if I let her out much later last thing. I too use a watering can for that last bit of poo!

My two and my foster are all taken out at around 10pm. We get up about 6.45am and the two boys go then but my bitch rarely bothers and waits till her first walk at 8am and even then never seems in a hurry to do anything. She is fit and well so it must be just a bitch thing or her metabolism is different from the boys. My previous old greyhound girl was just the same and could wait forever if she didn't want to be bothered going out.

We're night owls so last wees is usually around midnight, but during the recent fireworks events we discovered Lola is capable of holding on from around 3pm till around 7am! Impressive!
