If a hound has warm ears but cold feet is it cold? Have just turned the heating on for ours!

I've just been round feeling my dogs paws! I noticed that Bob (who is always the wimp!) had slightly colder paws than the others although his ears were OK. Have just put the heating on - I'm getting cold sitting here!

I gave in a put the heating on today as well. I'm not sure about cold feet but I know cold ears are an indicator of body temp.
