I drive a Peugeot 207, i generally keep the back seats down to accomodate Krissi, Louie and non-pointy 5kilo Harry. There is more than enough room for all of them, even when they stand up, but what worries me is i have no guard to protect us if i have to brake hard.
I have called Halfords, but they couldn't help. Is there anyone out there who has the same problem, and if so, how have you solved it? Thanks Janina xx

I used to have a pergout 206 sw and the standard pergout dog gurad is a waste of time, espcially if you have to take it in and out alot, it only fits if the seats are up and the roof fixings it goes into are a pain and get esliy damaged when you losse your temper with the blasted thing. Alot of us have tailgate gurds ect from barjo they are a great company and will do there very best to help you. They don't do a guard to fit while the seats are down but I'm quite sure they'll try there best to sort something for you. www.barjo.co.uk/My other sugestion is a luggae cargo net which you could secure in postion with bungeis, I'd secure it at the roof grab handles, door handles and hook onto the metal work at the bottom of the seat.

I'd been wondering that, the luggage net is a great idea, thanks both of you, vicky

I have a brilliant tubular dog guard from Saunders. the T2 model www.vcsaunders.co.uk/DogGuards.html I can used mine with the back seats up or down, if the seats are down and we need to fit lugguage in the car then I can move it back to make room for bags between the guard and the front seats but still giving the dogs more room than if the back seats were up. It will also fit any model of car and a lot more solid than those you can buy from Argos which collapse at the slightest tap and are quite frankly useless.
