A DAP diffuser is worth a try - although the house will smell a bit like hot, wet dog for a while! I find the smell rather comforting too - though most people say they can't smell it - maybe I'm part dog! Jane

That's interesting as I have a good sense of smell but can't smell the DAP at all even when I've sprayed it in the car. You must be part dog Jane They do work with ours, much cheaper on vetuk than vets or pet shops. Vicky

I didnt think dap diffusers had a smell to humans?? I've never noticed it before! I'm sure Tippy will be fine as long as you are with her. Everytime our lot go on holiday somewhere new they settle straight away, well once the excitement has died down Sue

If Tippy will use a crate, you could set it up now for her before you move and then set it up again in the new house so she knows where she "belongs". Also, don't wash her bed so it smells familiar to her. We did this with Mayo on holiday this year and it worked a treat. I also swear by Rescue Remedy to relieve anxiety after seeing how effective it's been on Mayo. Good luck with the move Moira x

Thanks for the tips. Yes she has a crate and her quilt that she sleeps on so will take those over when she comes so she has a smell she knows. I think as long as she can get into bed with me still she should be ok at night
