Barney needs to lose some weight. At his last vet check up he was 25.3kg and need to get him back to 22ishkg.
I have cut his raw food by a third so he now only has about 300g of a landywood bag (454g) and his evening meal is usually about 100g of kibble. Took him to the local PAH and he has puton weight (26.7kg) but so has Foxy (from 28.3kg to 29.8kg) so don't trust the scales.
The down side to the drop in food is he is looking to the food box more frequently so was wondering what other food I could give him to bulk out his meal without adding to his bulk. Have tried to add green beans and all he does is spit them on the floor.

;DGrated carrot, cabbage cooked or raw. Basically any veg that they'll eat. Try and avoid fruit due to the sugar content. If they like carrot either wholeish or grated you can also use it for treats

We have used bran to bulk out our older girls dinner. She doesn't mind it and it was a tip from our local pet shop ( and breeder ). It did stop her raking our legs for more food Which I must say is quite painful!! I wouldn't want to use it for a long time but short term it really helped. Good Luck.

Can you increase the exercise as well as decreasing the food? That should burn off more calories and help as it does with people.

Can you just cut out the kibble completely? I think its really difficult to know how many calories you're feeding them when you feed both kibble and raw. He should be on about 400-450g of raw a day. Rio who is about 23kg has 200g for breakfast and 200g for dinner, she can be prone to putting on weight, she was having 500g a day. He really shouldn't need much for than that, Rio also gets about half a handful of kibble just after going out for the last time before bedtime.
