ita friends, friends greyhoun girlie is in a lot of pain and has currently had 3 toenails removed the vet hasnt come across this before asnd has suggesated removing the toes has anybody come across this before or knows whats causing

I haven't head of it before, but I would ask for a second opinion before allowing my vet to hack my girlies toes off. Could it be a fungal infection or something similar? Poor baby, loads of hugs to her  |

Its actually quite common Judy and is called symmetrical lupoid onychodystrophy or SLO its an auto immune disease. Ask her to print out the link below and take it to her vets. greythealth.com/toenails.htm |
