If any member has used a canny collar or walkezee on their greyhound, I'd be very interested to find out if you have had success with these products or not?
My husband and I have been using a halti on our beloved greyhound Sarah in order to give us a bit more control when she meets other dogs that might be 'off lead' or dogs she hasn't met before when she does become quite excitable.
The halti has worked very well but it's not particularly robust and is already heading for the bin so I have been looking into alternative products.
Any help/advice etc would be very welcome before buying another halti.

The walkezee is a harness which I have for Bertie but its not going to give you that much control over a lunging greyhound I would not have thought especially if your dog pulls backwards. It is however an excellent to tool to train dogs to stop pulling forward which is our problem. I'd be inclined to go the headcollar route for more control.

My thanks to you all for your replies.
I think it's going to be worth us having a go with a canny collar so I'm now off to order one.

My big boy Buster needed a canny when we first adopted him - as he was (according to the kennels) the second strongest dog they had ever known!!
18 months later we can walk him on any collar - as he no longer pulls.
The canny gives us superb control over our lovely 37kg "dog-kite" when necessary.
I totally recommend it.
Debbie.
