Don't feed her before the trip and ginger biscuit could be helpful. P@H sell dog travel sickness pills but I don't know how effective they are.

Mayo developed stress-induced travel sickness after staying in at our vets partner practice 12 miles away. He only has a problem if the journey is over 25 minutes though. We've had good results using Rescue Remedy. He has at least 8 squirts from the spray bottle about 15 mins before we travel. We also give him a thicker bed or donut bed to stop him wobbling about so much and as Nettie has said, don't feed before a journey. Tippy may be more comfortable travelling restrained on the back seat if the sickness has only been a problem since you changed your car. Hope you can find a solution soon. Moira x

Moira, has just reminded me, yes a bed that offers stability may help too, something like a bean bag. 4x4s have a different kind of suspension to a car and can tend to lean a bit more when they go around corners or roundabouts which might be what is now making Tippy sick. Rio gets a bit sick I think although is not physically sick and I've noticed she likes to lean against the spare wheel or the dog guard in the Jeep, so I think it is a stability thing.

You can get travel sickness tablets from your vet. ..I've found the herbal ones from pet shops don't work for Tyler. When Millie the WHippet suffered with travel sickness, my vet did advise that they should have a very small amount of food in their tummies as the acid in an empty stomach can make them feel worse.
