Foxy has decided to become the little cow she is and is eating loads of grass, then brings it all back up like a cat does a furball. Then she is gulping and swallowing (will try to get her on camera doing it as can't describe it very well).
Should I be worried or is she just liking the taste of grass. Have starved her today as best I can - she managed to find a box of gravy bones I hid from her. She has had 2 days of treats while out collecting over the weekend so don't know if she has just had too much food.

Could she have something stuck in her throat Marie? This sounds very like what Mayo was doing earlier this year - looks like an exaggerated swallow? That was eventually put down to him having a tablet stuck in his throat. Might be worth giving the vet a ring for their advice. Hope all's well and sorry I can't say anything more constructive. Has the gulping thing happened since the gravy bones, Marie? I don't buy them anymore since I saw dog really choking on them...it's the stuff on the outside of them that does it..it gets sticky once it's in their mouth and can stick to the mouth or throat. Hope she's ok ;D

Whilst it can be dangerous if a dog has something stuck in its throat, the most likely reason is a tummy upset. If she is eating/swallowing normally then she will probaly feel better in 24 hours. If she cannot eat/swallow I would get him to a vet . Hope she's feeling better by now Mary X
