sicky dog - advice appreciated

It's his own fault really, yesterday Blue tucked in to half a tub of margarine. he was fine last night, but has been sick 3 times today. He was keen for his breakfast, so had that, and it's mainly the undigested brekkie he has brought up.

So, any suggestions to help him through his gut rot? I thought about getting him some yoghurt. Or I remember my dad giving our childhood dog gaviscon, is that a no-no??

I would starve him for 24hrs and allow it to pass through his system. Dont give any human meds without your vets consent. Hope he feels better soon

wow, I'll be taking my life into my own hands by starving him, but I'll give it a go!! he seems settled again at the moment, but as he is at work with me, I might take him home for the afternoon.
