I would say that grumpy git may have a belly ache. Has he been sick at all, there does seem to be a nasty bug going around. If he has been sick when you get home then get him to the vets, it really is a nasty one.

Thanks Nettie You,re a star!!.He was very sick just as I was about to go to work, so I did,nt leave him.He is now laid on an old duvet ,snoring for England.i have taken your advice and hes off to vets in about 10 minutes, thanks once again for the info, hope it maybe of use to someone else. I was a bit worried as it was so out of character for the old fella Phil I would say that grumpy git may have a belly ache. Has he been sick at all, there does seem to be a nasty bug going around. Oh good, I'm glad he's ok. Its just because there is a bug going around I wanted to alert you, Indy was poorly a few weeks ago and someone else I know also had a very poorly younger dog and then her oldie got the same type of bug and yesterday after a week of being ill she lost her fight.

I don't know how old Blacky is but Milo regularly went off eating but he was the kind of dog that if he missed a meal he just got used to not eating and it always felt like he couldn't care less if he ate again. I was told he was about 10 when i found him but this went on for the 8 1/2 years i had him. By the beginning of the third day i was usually cooking mince and feeding him with a fork. Once i had got something in him he would start eating normally again.
Glad he seems better!
