We are once again back up to another five in the pound we deal with and are still around 3 dogs over quota in our care meaning we dont currently have room for others.
These dogs are all from a stray situation so there background with children, cats etc is not known, hence rescue places only
Fawn Greyhound Male (earmarked) aged 3 years. Collected as local authority stray due Thursday this week
Lurcher male 2-3 years black with white spots. Collected as local authority stray due as from today.
Greyhound/Lurcher Male (un earmarked) 2 years fawn. Collected as local authority stray due as today.
Lurcher bitch 5 years black and white This girl is urgent and needs a place asap. Collected as local authority stray and is way overdue.
Lurcher Dog 6 years black and white. Collected as local authority stray due Wednesday.
If any of the rescues can help with a please for even just one of these dogs please let me know. The pound is filling up quickly with lots more dogs coming in around them.
We are struggling to even find boarding for one or two as the children break up from school this week and the kennels with facilities to take straight from the pound already have lots of bookings for holidaying families dogs meaning they dont have the means to cater for more because of restrictions with workload.

Some photos of the Pound Hounds thanks to Nicky who has been up for us this afternoon... Some photos of the poundies and more details...... This is the collie x lad who we estimate to be around 2 - 2 1/2 years old. Seems a very nice natured laid back lad. Lurcher Bitch This little lady is very submissive and has a beautiful nature. She has mild kennel cough and is desperate to get out of kennels. Once out she is a real smiler and pulls her lips back to grin at you. Greyhound Male This is the earmarked Greyhound Male. He is absolutly stunning looking and in fabulous condition appart from Mild Kennel Cough. Walks beautifully on the leash is very affectionate and is fine with other dogs. Ive chased his earmark and he is three. This lad is desperate. We arnt sure if he is saluki or sloughi cross. He has very bad kennel cough and although it doesnt show on these pictures is desperatly thin and un happy. He really needs some tlc asap. We are really worried about this lad as he is so weak. Please if any rescue can offer space let me know asap.
