Hi Folks
Wonder if anyone can offer me a bit of advice?
My Toby has become really aggressive towards other dogs - both male and female. He seems to be worse when he's on a lead and with me
Tobe's not too bad when my hubby walks him.
Sometimes he seems fine - goes up to sniff the other dog - and then just attacks them. Other times as soon as he 'clocks' another dog - he will lunge forward barking, growling and showing his teeth. Makes no difference if male or female.
When he first started being a 'bit' aggressive with other dogs and I would make him sit until the other dog had gone past and then give him a treat & a fuss. THIS USED TO WORK!!
However - the past couple of weeks or so - he has started to ignore this and is more interested in attacking. The past few lunchtime walks have been a nightmare - especially with all the 'fine weather' walkers appearing
