Hi I've just adopted an ex-racing greyhound but I don't know of any fenced areas where I can exercise him off lead. I live in Preston, Lancashire and can travel anywhere within say, twenty miles radius. The North West Greyhound Trust where I got him from is based in Cheshire and they dididn't know of anything. They suggested I ring round some local riding schools to see if they would loan me their field. Whilst I'm doing that I'd be very grateful, if you have any ideas or know of any places, please email or post.
Many many thanks Yvonne

We've contacted a local riding school near to us in the hope we could use their indoor arena (especially as Sorda is deaf) and we never heard anything

Keep going with the riding school thought, I contacted about 12 before I found one that would let us use their indoor arena for our Gap off lead's.

I don't know if this is useful or even near you but St Pauls do say on their website that they have an enclosed playing field, it might be worth phoning and explaining that you're looking for somewhere enclosed to train your dog and of course you would leave no mess behind you. Sou

Yes, anyone on here can use it just let me know when you want to come over and i will leave the gate unlocked and give you directions. Diane x Edited to add that when we fenced the field for the dogs we could only afford to go 4ft high with post and rails and sheep wire, but we are lucky that our dogs don't jump so it is ok for us. Hope this is suitable for you too!

Anybody in Bucks - specifically near Beaconsfield - know of any suitable fenced areas for greyhound excercise?
