Had contact from Caroline this morning and we are desperatly trying to place an 11 year old Greyhound Male named Roger. Roger has been off the track since he was five years old and is currently with his owners, however the gentleman has cancer and his wife is in a position where she is having to move back in with her daughter and cant take Roger with her
Although Roger doesnt live with other dogs he is a lovely lad and gets on well with all breeds. Please if anyone can find it in their hearts to offer this lad a peaceful home or foster home for the next few years let me know asap

Hiya this one is sorted but ive now received this email about a nine year old
Hello
We have a greyhound we are looking to re-home. His name is Prince and he is about 9 years old. We took him in for a friends daughter who was in a relationship breakdown. He can not return to his previous owner and we are not really in a position to keep him. He historically was with another dog and had an adult at home, with us we are out at work.
I believe he needs far more attention than he is getting and is very lonely at the moment. We know very little about his history, we are told that he used to race but he has no ear tattoos. He is fine with children, but doesn’t like it when they get too boisterous.
Could you let me know if you can offer any help in finding him a more suitable home?
I have emailed back and am awaiting a phone call. Will lock this and start another thread.
