The utterly charming looking Wizzee www.oldies.org.uk/?p=1983 is having to move foster homes and by coincidence has a chance of a permanent home in the Norfolk area shortly. We are therefore looking to move him nearer at the same time.
Wizzee is an 8 year old who doesn't recognise it and likes to be constantly on the go - hence Busy Wizzee. Intelligent, friendly and very curious he will need to be secured in the vehicle as I'm told that given the opportunity he would happily bounce around all over the car - and don’t leave your sandwiches or sweets for the journey within reach or he'll have them!!
Wizzee is said to be a real character, good with other dogs, has been fine when meeting children outside, though he is not used to living with them and he doesn't like cats.
He has been vet checked, vaccinated, neutered & micro chipped and is in lovely condition.
suggested route is - approx 7.5 hours & 395 miles in total.
A89, M8, A73, A71, E5, M74, E5, E18, M6, A684, A683, A65, A629, A650, B6269, B6144, A647, A641, A6177, M606 E20, E22, M62, A1, A57, A1, A17, A47, A1067
His current fosterer can take him to Hamilton ish on the M74 & we are then be looking for help from there. She says of him "he is good as gold in the car. All my dogs travel in the boot when we're going to our walking places and he hops in and lies down quite happily with the rest of them. He's fab with other dogs and with people and is just an all round wee star and I'm chuffed that he has got a chance of a forever home now"
Can you help this lad on his way to his next home?
Wizzie is legally owned by the Oldies Club and liability insurance is in place. We ask that all transporters advise their insurer they are transporting dogs for rescue on a voluntary basis (we have not known anyone be charged for this) and full guidelines are issued to anyone helping with Oldies Club Transport runs.
Thank you for your anticipated support.
