When giving advice in this section please think about what you are posting.
There is a wealth of knowledge and sighthound experience available on this forum and whilst some members may be more versed in training and behaviour or having a better understanding of living with hounds others may not be as experienced.
Make sure that you take the time to read what the OP is asking and then read again double checking before offering your input. Be sure that you understand what is being asked and that you are confident with your experience and the advice you are offering back. There is nothing wrong with offering support but do not offer advice just for the sake of offering.
If what you are posting is based around your own personal feelings/opinions and not stated fact please make sure that you make this clear in your post and do not ever say I know for definate unless you can back up with evidence that proves things outright.
Please be sensible with your advice.
For those requiring advice there is nothing wrong with using this forum to ask for *input* or experiences but do not take what is written as golden.
Any adopters first port of call with a behaviour problem should always be the adoption group itself as they will have a better understanding of the dog and its needs/behaviour OR with a more serious problem an experienced behaviourist.
