Puppy's and walking on the lead

Lucy's new puppy isn't that keen on his lead,he will walk for a while then stop sit down and thsts it ,poor Tippy and me have to wait around for ages for him to get up

Any sugestions ?

When Cleo did this as a pup (a few years back now ) I used to throw bits of cheese etc ahead so she had to move to get the treat. We would get a few more steps, then another treat etc until she forgot about the lead.

Worth a try anyway. Good luck!
