Has anyone got any advice about pet insurance and whos best to go with? We've been with Marks and Spencer, but have let the policy lapse so need to reorganise a policy for Baloo and Ebony. We're a bit gutted as we didnt realise the original M&S policy for Baloo had life cover. We thought it was cover for a 12 month period. We dont think we'll be covered now for Baloos wrist or his monthly anti-inflamms cos the policy lapsed for the period when he started with his problems. Please help!!! Fran and Jan

Just switch ours to Axa, on-line. Good price and cover and others on here have recommended them. We had an insane renewal 50% on premium and excess went from £50 to £150 +20%of bill Who on earth is going to stay with them after that! and that's standard now, not because we'd had a big claim or anything. It's starting to get ridiculous. our vet said he'd had an old lady who'd had the same and she was in tears because she couldn't afford it now, but wasn't eligible for PDSA, but couldn't afford vet bills, so sad. (he's lovely, I bet he helped her out on the quiet ;D) Vicky
