I don't know anything about this dog, but had a call today to find a place for 2 rough coated male Lurchers who were in a pts situation within the next day or so. They're in a pound in Huddersfield and they're running out of room for the strays there .
I went this evening to pick up the smaller of the two, who has turned out to be a bitch ....she's a medium sized brindle rough coat - extremely thin and needs lots of tlc but I didn't see the other one. If anyone can offer a temp foster home for him (?) please contact me asap. I will help with travelling as far as I can

Nope and I've absolutely nowhere to put him either I've got 10 dogs in the house, including my mum's SBTx, so can't have anything with kennel cough in the house - plus my lads would go ape with another male dog coming in I've got 2 in the barn and it's the bitch who's going to a new home in a day or so, so I can't risk putting him in an indoor kennel in there in case he gives kennel cough to her and her new owners get upset (they've got another dog) And the office has Amy - the one I took in yesterday from this pound- who has kennel cough and is extremely emaciated and needs peace and quiet I don't know anyone who's got any room to spare atm

Kaye, would they keep him longer if someone chipped in for boarding, or don't they board? It's such a waste, cos a rough coat would rehome so quickly if he was here, but I've already got 3 too many

I spoke to them a couple of days ago. They are desperate for space, paying for boarding won't help, sadly However she's promised to call if (when) he becomes 'at risk'. I was hoping to place him here, but I've had 2 bounce and 1 reposession in the last 24 hours.... it never ends

Thanks for letting us know. Sadly my caravan aka emergency kennel has now succumbed to age and the effects of dogs jumping up and down, and the doorframe is falling apart so I can't help. Will do my best to put the word around though.

Sorry, was out most of the day yesterday delivering Tilly etc.......but I don't think the offer of boarding will help this guy. They need the space

Had a few offers of help, but no-one wants to foster him once they find out he's 99% sure to have kennel cough (and hopefully nowt else!) He needs to be fostered in isolation really.........the little bitch I've got is out in our office on her own, with kids popping in and out most of the day to play on the pc and me for food, walks, fusses etc. Had a couple of offers for transport, but it's the final destination we need to resolve really
