Crosspost from DP's tonight 22/3/04 Sorry to have to make yet another appeal, can anyone help, with transport, fostering, re-homing for the following dogs due to be put to sleep Wednesday. Saluki x - around 12 mths old, long coated very beautiful dog Saluki x boy, 3yrs old ish - smooth coated Collie x greyhound - 3yrs ish Two lurcher pups 4mths old - dogs, will try and find more info about these - all I know at moment they are big boys. The situation in North of England is dire - please, please help if you can - need transport, accommodation etc set up by Wednesday latest. Spoke to Carol earlier bout these we have all our foster homes full at the moment and two greyhounds that can go to Dasha for a short time but need to be moved to our care at some point!! (Thanks Dasha) There is no way we can take any of these but once its established if and where they are going im sure we can help with transport will send out a mass email now!

Can you please clarify which area of 'North of England' they're in? I have several contacts up here in the 'real' North who watch out for death rows but we're often chasing around for referrals much further south than us (Newcastle - Darlington area), and 'North' these days seems to be anywhere up from Nottingham

Bristol upwards is north to me! I can take pup's at a huge push, Im probably having to take emmy back so im up to ten, but there are a couple of spare rooms in the house. Or if anyone needs help with transport down my way give me a shout. Aly xx

If worst comes to worst I have kennel acess if it really comes down to it. I'm east central Scotland. Can do asessments aswell if needed.

Can take one here for a very short term emergency type foster. But would have to be short term, cos I'm still not too well. So basically if you're really stuck there's room here.
