Great news! I've just been reading the account on Doglost. Almost a SAS operation by the sound of it. 2 other marathon runners got home during the past 48 hours Spencer the klein spitz was caught after 10 days when he was spotted by a farmer going into a pheasant keep. Merlin the beagle, who legged it 2 weeks ago from a Pembs beach complete with harness and flexilead after being stung by a wasp, was discovered entangled in deep cover by a farmer but is in reasonable nick considering. Hounds still being seen on the run are the Ibizan hound from Hemel Hempstead and the Salisbury Plain saluki. I am posting latest news on their threads.
