These two dogs have been stolen from friends who are LSUK fosterers and volunteers.......................please help us try to get these dogs back, as they are devastated...............they're rescue dogs, but Snowy is one they've kept as their own LSB 1629/12/F: Lurcher -bitch (unsure if neutered) Smooth coated White with fawn Pale fawn patches on back Stocky build- broad backed. Very very nervous. Microchipped Height: 23-24 ins Age: 3 yrs Name is "Snowy" Stolen from: Outwell, Norfolk on 29/12/03 LSD 1630/12/F: Lurcher -dog (neutered) Smooth coated White with black Black patches along back and on face- one long, broad patch along side of mouth. White blaze on head. Height: 24 ins Age: 12 months Name is "Ben" Stolen from: Outwell, Norfolk on 29/12/03 Circumstance of loss: Dogs were put outside in a run, due to visitors, between 7.30-9.00 pm.The kennel door was smashed down and LSB 1629 and LSD 1630 were taken. Other dogs were left behind in a very distressed state. Additional Info: These people rescue Lurchers and had been approached during the day by men in a long wheel based, white van, who said they'd heard that they had a dog up for rehoming. Because of the xmas visitors' arrival, the owner asked the men to come back next day....maybe they came back later? A friend in nearby Fridaybridge had thieves attempt to steal her dogs on friday, but as she was unexpectedly ill and at home, the attempt was foiled.

Some good news:
> Ben has been recovered......he was thrown out of a Land Rover in a nearby village last night (30/12/03), luckily a passer by witnessed it and managed to catch him straight away. He's lame and shaken up, but generally OK.

Kaye, I do hope Snowy is recovered very soon. These aren't the people we met in the pub with Wendy and Fran, when we had the 12 dogs in tow were they?
