Thanks to Alicia and Sam for alerting me to this show: Would anyone be free to run a stall for Gap at Reaseheath College in Nantwich on Sunday 13th May 2012? Cross-posted from DogPages: At the college i work at we have a big open day each year (Reaseheath College, Nantwich) and we are trying to do some new things this year so we are holding a discover dogs type event consisting of rescue stalls, Good Cits demos, public novelty show, masterclass training sessions, agility equipment where people can have a go and also we want to try and get a range of breeds so people can see examples of breed. Just wondering if anyone lived nearby to Nantwich Cheshire and may be able to show off their dogs for some of the day as a breed example- only requirement is that they have to be good with strange people fussing Obviously breed rescues are more than welcome, and we would alos like any dog rescues that would like a stall/stand to get in touch and we can book everyone in! Anyone taking part will get a free family pass for the day – and get to talk about their dog to the public all day! The event itself is really popular and there is lots for the family to do- zoo to walk around, equine displays, floristy, agriculture etc so you will see lots of other things besides dogs! If anyone is able to help please pm me- all breeds welcome!www.reaseheath.ac.uk/wordpress/?page_id=653I'm hoping we'll be able to do this between us (collecting and returning stock etc. from Stoke): It looks like a lovely opportunity Whaddya think? Jo x

Hi Jo I didn't realise this was here and have just posted about it on dog talk. I also didn't realise there was another gapper at the college Hope you manage to get someone to run a stall as last year there were about 17,000 people through the gates!!!!! and if the weather is good there could be even more!

Jo dependant on times if someone else from Stoke is coming over I can probably do half a day. So if any of the other Stokies are reading this can they say yeah or ney. That means if we head over early doors we can get the stock over and then worry about it coming back after x
