These little ones were abandoned in a Country Park in Stoke on Trent They are around 14 weeks old and are to die for, sweet bundles of mischief who are going to need foster homes in time for Christmas. As they spent some time in the pound they are currently isolating in our kennels but will be ready to move to foster next weekend 17/18th December. We will also need people on standby willing to help us with transport from our kennels in Stoke on Trent to foster homes. If you have not already been homevisited by Greyhound Gap but are interested in offering a foster home to one of these pups please take the time to fill out the pre adoption questionnaire below so that we can get back to you www.greyhoundgap.com/homing-a-adoption/pre-adoption-questionnaireThey will be first vaccinated, de flead, de wormed and microchipped before leaving the kennels and will be the full responsibility of Greyhound Gap whilst in care. Donna (girl obviously) Cupid (girl) and the boys Blitzen Dancer the runt of the litter Ruddolph cheeky little man with beard and my favourite Dasher

Would definitely foster with a view to adopting one boy - love the look of Rudolph and Dasher - problems around Christmas Day and the two days after due to travel etc but any time after that.

We are still working on sourcing foster homes BUT it is up in the air at the moment. We took the pups into the vets yesterday due to being off their food. They have a MASSIVE worm burden though even though they have been wormed so it may be this. However, being abandoned outside it could be kc, parvo etc so we are not taking any chances. Hopefully if they are all okay and receive the all clear we can once again push ahead.

We could take one short term over the xmas period, I am off work from 16th December to 4th January. We've been home-checked (waiting to hear if we were successful) and we know our wall needs extending in height as it is easy for a greyhound to jump but this may not be an issue for a puppy? Let me know if we can help.

Hi Lisa,
I have been looking for a rescue puppy for the last couple of weeks and have been told about these pups by Liza Faircloth. I am very interested in rehoming one of the boys (love Dasher) so will complete the adoption form and see what happens. My only concern is that I live in Sussex and wouldn't be able to drive all the way up to Stoke-on-Trent to collect..... Em

At the moment the pups wont be moving anywhere they are all in the vets having come into us with a virus that may be parvo although it doesnt seem to be anything other than a severe gastro the pups are so heavily worm burden and its pulling them right down. We lost one little one last night and the others are still in the vets so will lock this for now until we know how they are if they survive and work out the best way forwards with them. We are all gutted, why the hell anyone felt to leave them out in the elements to face their fate and end up battling with illness still does not comprehend with me!
