Well the lovely Rolf has come to live with us and he's been a little superstar! Sophie has done a geat job in getting him used to a home envoronment and apart from 1 accident (which was prob. our fault) he's not had any other accidents and not chewed anything which considering all the changes he's had in his life in the last few weeks is fantastic. Having 2 hounds in the house just feel's right and Gypsy seems much brighter and settled around him though he's not sure what to do when she play-bears with him yet. He's definately been making us smile. He does everything with enthusiasm (including sleeping ;D) and curiosity - sticking that long nose into everything and around every corner. He's also a tea-leaf and been caught a couple of times sneaking off quietly with the dog biscuit scoop or an item of clothing and he looks down his nose at you with such innocence! He's such a sweet loving boy who loves his cuddles and we're smitten! Not the best photo's in the world unfortunately...
Great update and so lovely to see Rolf settled so well in his new home. Love the picture of him playing in the garden. He's a hound in a million and am so happy that he's going to have such a fabulous future ahead of him. Keep the updates coming and give him cuddles from me. X
Oh, he is gorgeous, he has certainly made his self at home by the looks of it! When i got Roxy she had two accidents that were both when i was at work, and she then pulled newspaper out of the cat litter box and put it on top, so for the next couple of weeks i put newspaper down and she never needed to use it!
She also has a habit when i am at work of taking any bit of clothing she can get, taking it to bed and cuddling up with it, i've never tried to stop her because she does'nt chew anything, i think its a comfort thing!
Hope you have lots of happy times with your new boy! x
Rolf he is so bright isnt he not ;D I love that boy he has not got a bad bone in his body and is such a loving dog. I still covet black greyhound males I dont care what anyone says they are the easiest most loving dippy dogs to live with. ;D

missfleur2003: Hello. I am new to this site and noticed that the posts for available dogs seem to be quite old. Some seem to be years old. Are the dogs shown still available.

peggy: Also a brand new greyhound owner, I love her already. It's hard to believe she is 4 years old, I have to keep reminding myself she was in a kennel and not a home. She is a beaut, but goes skits around food, I suppose it was the excieting time of day x

steeveet: Hi there, just had our home inspection by a lovely lady with her Greyhound Arthur, who I could have happily snaffled as he was sweet and at home with our girl Belle. Does anyone here know how we now get to meet any of the dogs who need a home?
