Very timid and wary of strangers. The owner was taking him for a walk when he was suddenly spooked and pulled out of his lead and ran off. He was clipped by a car. There have been many sightings of Moses, who has been scavenging and eating food put out for birds etc. He is now being regularly fed by a lady who spotted him eating food she put out for badgers.
All efforts to lure him with food and female company have been in vain, so owner is requesting the loan of a greyhound-sized trap. Doglost has some traps and knows of various others, but our big trap is in Yorks.
Does anyone know of a large trap within a reasonable distance of Dorset please?

Forget my request, the N Dorset co-ordinator has a trap and will be setting it up tomorrow.
Paws crossed Moses will be caught soon.

Moses is still being seen and fed regularly but won't go anywhere near anything resembling a trap. He is as cunning as a cartload of monkeys and our SW co-ord is at her wits' end with him. They are working on the idea of a stooge dog.

Caught at last after 13 months on the run. Well done to Lynn, to GRWE and to everyone who helped for so long and never gave up.
