I have bad news about the plants we bought and grew on, I'm afraid. We paid £15 for a stand at Bowler's Carboot - the biggest in the country, took about £10 max, and had £40 stolen. We still have most of the plants, and no money for GG. If we could drop them off anywhere in the Stoke or Stockport/Buxton area with anyone who can sell them for us, we can do that, but we cannot spend any more money or time on them for the following reason. The day before the carboot, we found out that George is about to lose his job, and at 54 he won't get another in I.T. We still have a mortgage, so I have enrolled on a dog grooming course to try and earn some money, and George is also spending all his spare time researching self-employment and trying to work out how we can fit a grooming salon in the house. George and I are really sorry that we haven't made some money for Greyhound Gap, but hope you will understand. This is turning into one of those years you can't wait to see the back of If anyone can take all or some of the plants to sell on, could you pm me, as I'm not getting time to go on the forum much now, and I will get an email alert. They need to be planted now. Thanks, Lynne

Thankyou for your best wishes. Thankyou Janice and Moira for offering to try and sell some for me at Chatsworth. If anyone in Stokeyland would like them, George could bring them down to the kennels this Saturday, but it would have to be by 9am-ish. 100% of whatever you get is for GG x

Thanks again, everyone. Here are some pics of what the plants should be like in the spring. They should be planted now, or asap. First the pansies, which Janice and Moira are taking are 'Grande Fragrance' - a scented pansy, so should be nice planted near the path/door. Sweet William Rouge Blush - scented again - flowers May to July and Wallflower Fortune Mixed - also scented - flowers April to May Is there anyone who would buy some in Stoke area, if we took them to the kennels on Saturday?

A big thankyou to Janice, Moira and everyone who bought the plants and turned my mess around x It wasn't a mess at all Lynne - don't be so harsh on yourself. Thanks to your generosity, Gap is better off and several of it's members - me included - will have prettier looking gardens ;D I really hope that life takes a better turn for you both very soon and remember we're all still here for you if you need an ear to bend. Moira x
