Twiggy's body was found on Friday evening by some local boys who then contacted her owners. When Polly and her husband arrived at the scene they were able to confirm that it was indeed Twiggy. There were no marks on Twiggys' body, and no obvious injuries, but it would seem that she had died quite soon after disappearing into densely overgrown woodland. This area had been searched, and thoroughly, or so it was believed, but it was obviously very difficult ground to cover. I know that when I visited the park on Thursday afternoon it was impossible to see further than a couple of feet into the woods, and there were thick thorn bushes etc. covering the ground. Go chase wabbits at the Bridge and be happy Twiggy. Jackie x
