Sam, I'm ashamed to say I'm a complete and utter hypocrite - I encourage you to do something I want to do, but can't I just wish I had your resolve and strength to stop smoking ..... however, I will be rootin' for you all the way I'm the same Liz but I have invested in an E-cig and will be trying that way, at least I'll get the nicotine without the rest of the rubbish in cigarettes. If I get to grips with it, it will work out costing about £5.00 per week after the initial investment.

Well done - wish my boyfriend would quit! Can I contribute £10 towards your sponsorship total please. Should I give it straight to Gap?

Sam you are a , 6 months is a fantastic achievement, and one you should be very proud of. Believe me I know from personal experience how hard it can be at times, so to make the 6 months milestone is great, next one the 1 year. I used to be a very heavy smoker and when I think of all the money that's gone up in smoke I could weep. Looking on the bright side I now have a little spare cash each week to spend on other things.

One year since I stopped (give or take a couple of days!) I never imagined I could stop smoking..it is all thanks to Gap and actually caring enough about something I have managed to raise so far about £1,100 (although I'm still chasing donations of about £55) I will keep donating the money saved from not smoking to the kennel fundraiser until Gap has kennels Keep up the good work everyone ;D ;D Sam x

OMG A YEAR! I can not believe how quickly that has gone. I can not thank you enough for what you have done for us by being able to do this and stick to it. That is an amazing amount raised by just one person. Thank you and congratulations ;D

A year - that is absolutely brilliant! I'm an ex-smoker too and I can remember just how it felt - I think it was about then that I truly believed I wouldn't smoke again.
Well done on an amazing achievement, and on raising such a huge amount for the kennels. ;D ;D ;D
