I was taking a turn on the Doglost phone today when a lady called in, having found a pale cream saluki-type lurcher bitch wandering in the road outside her house. DW has been informed and bitch is remaining with finder for time being. No chip or tat, one ordinary collar and one slip collar. Poor girl is very thin and in poor condition, we suspect dumped, may be stolen but we can't find a match on Doglost. Photo should be on our site soon. She is a young adult maybe 2 or 3, and 21" or 22" high.
Finder is very concerned and wants to make sure that this girl is not pts. She can't keep her indefinitely as her own 4 dogs are getting rather jealous. She has got her kennelled and warm and can manage for the time being. I have given her my number and said that if we don't find an owner I will help to find her a new home or rescue place.
