A lady in the Newcastle area is in urgent need of help.....she has taken on a 2 yr old Lurcher from a local stray pound, The dog is absolutely fine.....but her 2 yr old kid will not leave him alone and is tormenting him summat rotten The dog's not bitten or anything, but she feels it's not fair to the dog to keep him and is worried he might snap - and who could blame him?
The pound she got the dog from is unable to take him back and she's desperately trying to find somewhere for him. I will take him in as a Lurcher Link dog, but I have no room at all here atm and he'd have to go into a foster home....can anyone oop north help out?
His name is Rossi and he's a 2 yr old rough coated male (neutered) who sounds fairly big (as high as the 2 yr old son). He's vaccinated and microchipped, is fine with other dogs and sounds as if he's 110% with kids if he hasn't snapped after all that! We're not sure about cats as she hasn't got any, but he does bark at them if they go into his garden.
I might have someone who could be interested in this lad, so it could be a very temporarly arangement. If you can help, please get in touch with me asap.
