There are three dogs once again in a Midland pound that we currently dont have enough room for. Two are earmarked male greyhounds one is black and around 2 years of age and is owner surrender so therefore his time is up whenever and they are quite full, the other is a fawn male around 4 years of age and due out on Monday of next week, and the other is a male cream with pink nose, short coated greyhound x saluki male around 18mnths old who's time is up on Monday next week. We would have had space for these dogs but due to ongoing medical problems with a couple of ours awaiting to go to their new homes we currently dont have space as we need to get these well enough before allowing them to be homed. If anyone can help (other rescues that being) please email greyhoundgap@yahoo.co.uk or telephone Lisa on 01782 544728. Im putting them up now in the hope that gives us enough time to look for help over the next week.

Everytime I see these appeals I wonder if I should have another dog, can I cope with 3?! Especially if the dog(s) might be pts. If you get really stuck with these or any others maybe I can help?

Has the RGT been informed as there appears to be three ear marked greyhounds involved here. They would need to know the ear marks so that if they are NGRC registered greyhounds both the NGRC and RGT know what is going on. I fully realise that the NGRC probably know about this sort of thing. Also do we know what pound in Essex that ear marked greyhound is at, as we may be able to move it, but also need to know its condition, cant really promise anything certain at the moment. I dont know if Binfield Dog Rescue would hold onto them for a number of weeks, providing the boarding and food was covered and any neccessary medical fees. They are reluctant to take greyhounds due being pestered by Travellers. You could contact Brian on 01344 421490 he can only say yes or no, but it may be worthwhile to save these lives. Transport would need to be arranged. Ted, Jagger and Mimi

I can help with the black greyhound boy in Essex if need be - we could probably squeeze him in at Clarks Farm.
