Pepsi is a large 8 year old Newfoundland x Lab/Retriever. After 4th August he will be home alone with someone popping in to look after him. He needs to be moved from Florden, Nr Mulbarton, Norfolk NR15 to Swinton, Duns TD11 I think it might be Teeside, right up the top of the A1.
The journey is 8 hours.
If you can help please reply here and state exactly where you could meet up to collect and take to.
Thanks Michelle The Oldies Club x

My autoroute says TD11 is Scotland. That is one long run.
I think the quick route goes far to the east of Peterborough but, if anyone is coming nearer, I could run an hour or so up the A1.

Have just received 2 fresh offers in:
If we can help we can go to Mulbarton and pick up the dog and take it to the Grantham or Newark on trent on the A1 but only at the weekend and would like to make a early start if possible.
I could do the Newcastle upon Tyne to Swinton, Duns if that's any help? Preferably on a weekend if that fits with everyone else in the chain, as it's a 140-mile round trip from here.
I couldn't leave Whuppety Jake for that long on a weekday but he could come with us, traveling on the back seat, with Pepsi behind the dog guard if I had OH with me, who is only home at the weekends.
If Pepsi is OK with other dogs I could hold him here overnight - either Friday or Saturday, and finish the run on either Saturday or Sunday, if that helps

I've been overwhelmed by email with tons of different offers all for this weekend. Thank you so much everyone. I'm not sure if I have any links missing at the moment. I'm working from the start of the run at the moment seeing exactly where the volunteers can meet up and will select the next transporters from those that can fit in best. I'll be in touch with everyone as soon as I possibly can. This is going to be some chain though so please bear with me.
