Can anybody help this weekend please?
I imagine the route would be Walsall to M6 - then M6 north to junction 36, then A591, A590 and A595.

I could help with a chunk - I live near Skipton but can go down the M65 to the Preston junction and join the M6 quite easily.

Up would probably be best as I can do a circuit and come back down the A65?

Marcia can you let me know which chunk up you can do where from and how far cos Alicia and Ray may be able to help up to you! If that is the case then I may be able to sort this end out up to them.

Easiest for me is to pick up from Preston area and drive up to near where M6 joins up with A65 as I can come back down A65 easily to home. I don't have a map here so hope that makes sense Pretty sure that A65 turning is near junction 36? Due to the whole chunks of country round here with no roads across 'em, sometimes it's just better to do bigger chunks and do a circuit on main roads

Actually Lisa has one of my lightweight puppy carriers that she could be shipped up in which could then be folded down and we could pay postage back on.

Actually Marcia there has been a change in plan Candy is quite a nervy puppy and it was looking like a four car journey to get her up. I also need to bring a partially deaf lurcher back from Cumbria pound that is coming into Gaps care. Nicky is going to collect Candy pick me up and we are going to go straight up the M6 to 36 meet Maisiemop she can then take the pup across to Askam and we can bring the deaf bitch back down. Sorry to have had you running round looking at maps and stuff but tis killing two birds with one stone and obviously I dont want the pup travelling with the poundie if we are up and downing.

No problem - happy to help anytime if it's weekends or evenings and can cover the area in this thread, down to below Manchester, the Yorkshire Dales and out towards Bradford/Leeds with no bother.
Pity we don't live closer to the M6 or you could pop in for tea and buns as you passed by!
