For Dilbert (see Greyhound Gap's current Homeless Hounds) Dilbert was pulled recently from a home where the lady was threatening to put him to sleep. He was being left all day in a cat cage from 8am to 6pm and is only 9mnths old. He is currently in a kennel situation and isnt handling it too well, poor lad is stressing at being left, even though he is getting three long walks a day. He is very nervy and having a hard time loving and trusting people at all and this isnt going to improve while he only gets limited attention. What this lad needs is someone with fostering experience, who has dealt with SA before to help bring him on and settle him down before homing. He isnt yet castrated as he needed a bit of time to settle but this can be arranged before we moved him to a foster home. Dilbert needs somewhere for the next few weeks with someone who understands his needs and has the patience and love to bring him out of himself before he makes the final journey to a forever home, with a little bit of work already in place to help him learn to trust. If you think you can offer this please email me at greyhoundgap@yahoo.co.uk
