Have just received a call from a lady involved in rescue in the Bury area. There is 9mnth old whippet male who is currently in a home. The lady is looking to rehome the dog. Apparently it is okay with other dogs, she also has a GSD but when she leaves it along (all day) its starting to get destructive. I think the dog is vaccinated but not neutered. These are all the details I currently have but if any rescue can help or anyone would like to offer the dog a home please get in touch with myself either by pm or email greyhoundgap@yahoo.co.uk and I will pass on your contact details.

Lisa I'm sure you will get some offers for this boy... But if not I think Bath may take him.

What about JR Whippet rescue, I understand they have a waiting list for homes for whippets.

Someone has just spoken to this woman dont think that she is a full shilling to be honest. Its looking more like this dogs is a small whippet x lurcher is definatly nine months old NOT vaccinated and this *woman* is caging it while she goes to work full time BUT apparently the dog is getting out of the crate and wrecking the house! We have NO WHERE To put this dog if another rescue can help please please step in she is threatening now to have it pts.

Lisa glad to hear the dog is getting rehomed as the woman put me on a guilt trip last night and to be honest i think i would have ended up getting the dog if i had gone to see him but to be honest i really wanted a full whippet not a whippet x, hopefully he will get a nice new home anyway. Shirl

Hi Just wondered whether you had found a home for the whippet, I am looking for a whippet to be a companion to my nearly 2yr old spayed female. I live fairly near to Bury thanks
