Just taken a phone call from Anna, she has received a call this morning regarding a 9yr old greyhound male. He has been with his owner for 3yrs but she has had to leave her home for personal reasons and has been offered a safe place in accomodation where she cannot take the dog. The girls father has the dog at the moment but he himself is not allowed to keep him so the dog's future is in the balance Both of them are mortified. He is clean in the house, in good health, good with other dogs and fine off the leash. All round a good family pet, his cat status is not yet known. If anyone could offer him a permanant home please email greyhoundgap@yahoo.co.uk We are currently trying to locate a foster home for the lad, and if we can he will be castrated before rehoming.

Just to add Anna, has now been down and seen this lad and he is already castrated and up to date with vaccinations. Very happy Waggy lad, had a grizel at Anna's Maggie but no more and she was taken down purposely because she is giddy and bounced all over him. He is white with a ginger/fawn spot on chest and ears. Not earmarked but definatly greyhound

Is Anya still looking for an older grey? Though it doesn't say how this one is with children. Poor boy and poor family, hope the dog will find safety soon.

were not to sure how he will be with children yet, hopefully we will be bringing him in on Saturday Thanks to Sue and Anna. Although he is good with other dogs he has never lived with them. Im praying that he is good with kids as I have a homecheck tonight and he *may* be just what they are looking for so all keep your fingers crossed
